Not really, Dirrell just gave too much respect to Froch, that's why he was clinching so much and falling down. Froch never fought any differently at any point, Dirrell just stopped giving Froch that respect and when he did he beat Froch up.

And why did Andre give him respect? Because he knew Froch was a relentless pressure fighter with good power....

If he thought he could ko Froch or thought that Froch couldn't have hurt him, he would have boxed in the middle of the ring and tried tosiy on his punches and KO Froch....

Dude, Andre RAN the whole fight against Froch... He was defensive the entire night....

Haha...apparently this concept is foreign to people. Unless you don't go forward with your face and go to war, you can't win a fight.

I agree that Dirrell fought an ugly fight...I attribute it to being in foreign territory in his first step up in class.

But Dirrell landed all of the notable punches, and he got away from Froch before he could land anything.....running or not, Dirrell landed clean punches and Froch didn't....end of story.

Dirrell is bloody cat. If you want to see a good performance with punches landed against Froch then watch Pascal, Taylor or Kessler.

He did engage after the point deduction. When he decided to no longer give Froch so much respect, he beat him up. He could have done that the whole fight.

that's why in the last couple of rounds dirrell opened up, because he realised your ***** friend could'nt hurt him and was too unskilled to outbox him

People talk **** about him, they say he sucks, they say he is trash, and that he is horrible....

Well the only reason they say that is because Carl is not flashy, is not a speedster, and doesn't have the prettiest or nicest style.....

People say he lost to Direll and Kessler, but he CLEARLY kicked Dirrell's ass and had a close fight with MK (which I thought he won).....

People can't look beyond his style and see that he is a good fighter....

He is limited athletically and still goes out there and beats and competes with the best fighters in the world...

If you think Froch 'sucks' or think that he is 'horrible' or 'trash' you need to watch more boxing....

I really feel that Froch beats AA and that it will be Ward vs Froch in the Finals.... And hopefully Froch kicks his ass.....
