super 6 league table + possible outcomes

    Fighter Record Points

    Ward 2-0 2
    King Arthur 1(1KO)-1 3
    Dirrel 1-1 2
    Froch 1-1 2
    Kessler 1-1 2
    Green 0-1 0

    My predicted outcomes:
Ward to beat Dirrel on points to take him to 6 points
AA to KO Froch to take him to 6 points
Kessler to beat Green on points to take him to 4 points
Froch and Dirrel to remain on 2 points each and Green to remain on 0 points.

According to the poster Dave Rado the tie brake rules are as follows:
1.) Direct comparison if both fought against each other
2.) If not, more KO wins in the tourney
3.) If equal, the fighter with better scorecards
    4.) If equal, coin toss

That would mean in my scenario that AA would be top of the super 6 group tables on KOs with Ward 2nd, Kessler 3rd and Froch 4th as he beat Dirrel.

that would leave a AA Froch rematch (as they fight in the last group stage fight) as 1 semi, and a Ward v Kessler rematch as the other semi. It would be a bit unfortinate if that happened imo, but a Ward AA final would be good if it plays out like i expect.

here's a way to calculate it. I agree with the predictions.

edit: By your analysis the next round will be ward vs dirrel and abraham vs kessler.

      My predicted outcomes:
Ward to beat both Green and Dirrel on points to take him to 6 points
AA to KO Froch to take him to 6 points
Kessler to beat Green on points to take him to 4 points
Froch and Dirrel to remain on 2 points each and Green to remain on 0 points.

      Questions for you lot:
If AA and Ward both have 6 points, does AA get top spot cos he has 2 KOs, or does Ward get it cos he won all him fights?

I have Kessler taking 3rd spot, but both Froch and Dirrel will be tied on 2 points each in my scenario, who qualifies? I remember they said they had a plan in place but i dont remember hearing what it is.

In football (soccer to u yanks) I've seen them place one team on top of the other based on head to head results, that would mean froch qualifies and Dirrel doesnt, is that what they are doing here or not?
As of right now, Dirrell is in 4th, and Froch in 5th. So I would assume Dirrell would advance no matter what unless Froch wins. Which I see as impossible.

Hmm. I just went through some possible outcomes.

          What I think is ******.

Ward can beat Green, Ko him or whatever, but if Green beats Kessler, both Kessler and Green are in if Dirrell and Froch lose.

            cheers for that.

Im confussed as to what the tie break mechanism is though to decide between Froch and Dirrel.

At first i thought it might have been Dirrel because Froch got KOd by AA and Dirrel lost on points in my scenario, so i entered AA to beat Froch on points, so neither Dirrel or Froch have a KO against them and Dirrel still qualifies ahead of him.

wtf is the tie break mechanism?

Am I the only one that thinks that Froch will actually outbox/outwork Abraham in a UD? I know everyone thinks this fight will end in a KO but they said the same about the Arreola/Adamek fight and even Kessler/Froch fight.

Point is Froch and Abraham both have solid chins and Froch is too fast and will outwork Abraham for a UD.

I know for sure that I'll be rooting for Froch. He was a true gentleman in the fight as well as in the build-up. AA on the other hand continues to lobby for a no-decision verdict in his fight with Dirrell. What a wanker.

Before i filled out the showtime thing, i thought that might be it too, but Froch (officialy) beat Dirrel, but Dirrel qualifies ahead of him.
