    Is that it?
****m's resume has nothing to do with how good of a trainer he is. If top fighters like Mosley and Hopkins admire his old school training, etc then you know he must be good at what he does.

****m is only 45 years old i believe also. He still has alot of time to help fighters to the top.

      Yes. You're right.

Accomplishments and achievements should not be considered when determining how good you are.

      Resume is unimportant.

And if you remember, Floyd also made that comment about how other fighters don't turn their punches over. That was a subliminal, veiled dig at Shame. And on last night's ep, Floyd mocked the poor technique by just 'pushing' his punches at the heavy bag.

So you're saying you don't like Brother Naazim? Can't argue with you there. If you don't like him and his training techniques you just don't. No need to try and convert you into a fan.

Resume is important but to totally dismiss his abilities as a trainer is unfair when you consider he lead Mosley to one of his biggest wins against Margarito last year and helped Hopkins become light heavyweight champ back in 06.

It's clear the guy knows his stuff and those fighters he trains admire how he does his work. Listening to him in between rounds is something special also. It's certainly better than listening to Roger saying this between rounds: "you makin this Mo ****a look silly man, keep the mo ****in jab in his face."

****m's work isn't done either. He still has alot of time left as a trainer. Give the guy a break.

Hell, his OWN SON has under-performed. His son is a 30 year old sparring partner.

I think there should be a rule... If your birth name is "Rock" you should have to be a boxer.

I'm saying that some perspective is necesary. Some of these guys are tasting Naazim's pre-cum, when the guy hasn't shown that he can develop a fighter. The tough part of training is taking a raw prospect or a young guy with talent and leading him to the top.

Training a current top 5 p4per (and former #1 p4per) to a good win isn't indicative of being an elite trainer.

Hell, I give Sergio Martinez' trainer more credit than Naaz.

Roger Mayweather took an Olympian and amateur champion to the top of the sport. A champion in his second year. And every year since.
Naazim Richardson had an Olympian and amateur champion. That guy is now a 30 year old sparring partner.

If Naazim is so great, explain to me why Lamont Peterson is a championship-level fighter, and Rock Allen is on the BumFights channel on YouTube.

                    Soooo, lemme get this straight.

Naazim's work is impressive because his fighters like his style.

But Roger's work is garbage, even though his fighters like his style.

                    Thanks for that. Well done.

I never said Roger's style is garbage.

I was just stating that ****m's work in between rounds is more interesting so to speak.

I admire roger's training abilities even if he is abit of a clown.
