However you feel about Dawson, respect the man's achievements. There's a reason that Hopkins wasn't trying to see Chad.

Adamek had looked strong and solid at the lower weight. He just wasn't as fast or fluid as Chad.

There are bad fights for Adamek out there. Chambers may be one. Haye may be another. But if you put a plodding heavyweiaght in front of him, Adamek shines.

That's a good point, he seemed to have carried the extra weight just fine at heavyweight and even with the extra size he still was maneuverable to outland Areola.

Adamek was hella weight drained at that point... sure it looks good for dawson, but i wouldnt look too far into it... plus its a different style matchup

dawson's win over adamek always looked good it's just people don't like chad dawson because his fights aren't "exciting"

i'd rather watch dawson hit and not be hit then froch's formula of get hit then get hit some more

it's time talented fighters like dawson get more praise than lesser skilled guys that just so happen to have exciting fights

it's the sweet science vs brutality

hence why people love pac more than floyd
