What a joke this is. Out of the $5 mil purse Tyson gets $250,000 and his ex-wife gets a $750,000 pay day! She was the biggest winner of the bout by 300%.
His still potent earning power is evidenced by his $5-million purse plus a share of pay-per-view revenue from Saturday's bout. Because he still owes about $20 million in debts, his take-home pay was expected to be $250,000. That is better than McBride's $150,000, but less than the $750,000 going to Tyson's ex-wife, Monica Turner. The rest goes to a bevy of creditors.
