A big man at his best fights exactly like Wlad and Vitali, using their heigh and reach advantage to it's fullest. Weak arguement. What are they supposed to do at 6'6, fight like a small man?
No but they should open up a little more. It makes sense that they don't go to the body as that brings their head into play, but both, especially Wladimir need to unload their right more.
Yes, it would mean taking a chance. And yes I understand that they might want to soften up an opponent for 4-6 rounds.
But damn, they have to open up before the 12th round. Chambers should have been put away like that in the 6th or 7th round.
Now, to the K's credit, when they came up they were going for the KO early. Then they got shocked by a couple losses and got scared.
They have money now. They have fame and belts. Now's the time to build a legacy and they need to start opening up earlier than they've been doing.
Even the very skilled Ali went to war when he had to his fights were very exciting.
His argument holds no weight once you realize that Floyd is not bigger and stronger then everyone he faces and he doesnt have 1 punch power in both hands.
I like My Heavies to ****.
Think we all do man. Like I said we have come to expect KO's at Heavyweight. If you not even trying then you do not belong on a televised heavyweight bout. However, like I had said the Klits do deliver KO's, they just use a methodical way that doesn't look quite highlight reel material.
Believe he's saying that since you enjoy Floyd's fights and he isn't a known all action kind of guy and relies on skill then you should also enjoy the Klits because they rely on skill as well. Therefore if you find skill sets to be exciting then you would like the Klits as well. However, no one watches heavyweights for skill.....we want Tyson and Foreman type s**t.
thats not what people thought about frazier and ali...or holmes
Considering Manny later re-canted that statement when he found out Floyd had a fractured hand. So we move on........
Why did Manny tell him to FIGHT?
Why?
Why are you comparing a guy with 1 punch KO power in both hands to Mayweather?
Wait why the hell are we talking about Floyd anyway?
Im on a heavyweight high right now my dude. Maybe tomorrow,
Again, i'm mentioning Floyd because IT'S INTERRELATED, what's so hard to understand about that?
This isn't about Steward, it's about the main point here, and that point is SKILL. Skills pay the bills, Floyd is doing what he has to do to stay undefeated despite criticism of him being BORING by alot of fans. And Wlad is doing what he has to do to keep winning despite criticism of being boring.
Now I am beating a dead horse, so i'll end it with this unless you have some new worthy points worth responding to, which I doubt.
I dont expect him to change his style. I just rather watch Haye fight Adamek.
Yeah I agree. I would also have to say that the dimensions of the Klits make for boring fights and they can't be held accountable for that. They are not going to fight on the inside, so the whole jab-jab punch thing is all they really need to keep off these much smaller dudes. Haye/Adamek would be a whole lot more exciting as they would have the chance to really get at each other. O, the Haye/Valuev fight ****** because of my first reason. Dimensions made for a crappy fight, Haye did his thing but looked bad.
