    Much respect to Chris Arreola

He obviously hurt his hand but didn't make excuses. He gave props to Adamek and acknowledged that the right man won the fight. I hope to see Arreola back in action with another opportunity. I admire his honesty and efforts to fight through the pain. Carl Froch can learn something from this instead of whining about his injuries and claiming he won a fight he clearly did not.

Not to hijack this thread form Arreol, but Froch didn't give any excuses, I was actually surprised by his post fight interview.

Arreola fought a good fight the 1st 10 rds and not so much the last 2.. however his hand was hurt and he still continued... Tomez boxing skills are superb anyone who throws 2-3-4 punches at a time will beat someone only throwing, 1-2s .... Tomez has no power but great boxing ability and the power to TKO, rather then KTFO an opponent.. him v Haye would be a Fight of the year canidate... I hope this fight proves something to Chad Dawson and he puts 30 pounds on and comes to the real division!

Arreola is going to be around this division for a lot of years. So what he's carrying some weight, the guy can definitely fight.

Absolutely. Arreola has a hell of a chin, very good stamina if he looses 10-15 pounds he would keep his power, he would be able to close the distance better and be able to slip more punches.

He's in very good shape. Doesn't look it. But he is.

first thing is first: stop eating so many tacos and get your fat ass in shape...

then keep working hard on the gym.
