that's a good point. i think froch is fully capable of beating kessler. he was doing good when he had kessler backing up. froch just didnt bring the pressure! his punches were clean but he would only land one at a time and could never put a decent combination together. froch just needs to put his foot on the gas pedal earlier next time. the fact that he didnt says kessler was doin somethin right and those body punches were payin off.

This was a great fight. I had high hopes for this fight but was worried it might not deliver. That was a war and both men should be given the credit they well deserve. I believe Froch won the fight 116-113 but have no beef with Kessler getting the nod. Two of the scores were way too wide, but without a doubt that is fight of the year candidate, round 11 is round of the year candidate, and it was an instant classic. The Super 6 is where its at.

Nice article. Good to see Cliff 'Owned' Rold is back with a proper language.

The fact that anyone would remember 'owned' (and Ward certainly owned his ass last year) tell me that was the proper language.

              Redemption was proper this time.

This was a true war, full respect to both fighters.

This was the first time I ever picked against Kessler and, having also picked wrong in the Adamek fight, let me say I enjoyed bening wrong both times. Outstanding weekend.

The atmosphere was electric Cliff. Let boxingscene give me a presscard next time and I'll do an article. I can already see the headline: "Green owned and destroyed in onesided beating!"
