Cotto needs a couple of more quality fights before he fights a big PPV fight, Vivian Harris would be perfect to see how he does againts him. I like Cotto alot when he fights like he did tonight patient, good footwork, efficient. Not like he did againts Chop Shop, with the exception of that fight everytime I see Cotto fight he looks better and better, but not ready for DLH/Shane/PBF or Zab yet.
Holy crap...Cotto wants DLH !!!!!

wtf u talkig about u trying to make this guy seem like ****ing Kostya Tyzyu, that guy was garbage. Who the **** is Mohamed Abudula****, HBO was just pressing the idea "This is a great step up for Cotto, his biggest test and ,that this Guy beat Cotto before who knows what can happen now" The man was pure trash ive never heard of this mother****er before. Talk to be when Cotto beats a hatton, tyzyu, Gatti, or Mayweather then we can talk about how great he was or not.Originally posted by Soldier01Agressiveness?? You want to talk about aggressive. The guy kept coming forward even after being hit by cotto. How more agressive do you want a fighter to be?? And he did have good counter punching skills because that was the only way he would hit cotto. Were we watching that same fight??? This guy proved the ability to have a strong fight tonight and that he can adjust to a fighters style and beat him at it. Which he did tonight and made Abdullaev realize that this wasn't the olympics.Comment

First off I aint Mexican, but personally I dont think Mexicans got anything to worry about. Cotto got some potential and I like that hes a pretty humble guy, but any of the top Mexicans even close to Cottos weight can beat him whether its Margarito, Castillo, or Oscar. And the only reason, not only Mexicans but fight fans that have eyes period hated Trinidad is because he took a win that didnt belong to him (and if you hated him before the DHL fight is probably just because he was PR) but I doubt Cotto will be hated as much as Tito just cause he seems more down to earth. And the whole backstreet boy thing.........come on man did you see Trinidads hair.........Cottos eyebrows.......Originally posted by IwatchBoxingYou Mexicans are showing signs of being scared allready, first you hated Trinidad, mark my words, COTTO WILL BE HATED, if he fights DLH aka backstreet boy.
......the Ricky Martin look-a-like in Cottos corner......come on man...Comment

Shut up *****!! Cotto is the best PR can offer thats shameful.. By the way Marc Anthony, I was right in my prediction.. I predicted riots at MSG last night and there were!! You have no reason to be biased towards your heritage.. My people had the Roman Empire, y.ours never had anythingComment

Cotto is a good fighter but with his compact style I don't think he can beat Oscar. Oscar would ko Cotto in the middle rounds. And I don't think it would even be close.
A fight I would really rather watch would be Cotto/Hatton. I think that would be pretty amazing, doubt if it ever comes off though.Comment

Originally posted by ottoevansCotto is not even good. Hes fought nobodies and weak ass Chop Chop rocked his ass althought he was 20 pounds lighter than Cotto. Cotto is still young and he can improve but if thats all he has he would die against big name opponents.
why do people keep bringing this up ???corley's weight had nothing to do with cotto getting rocked he got caught with a good shot right on the temple that shot would of rocked anybody people act like cotto is the only boxer to ever get rocked from a shot , i think for a young fighter he took it very well and survived it , it does not take away from his talent he is a good technical boxer with power cotto will own the 140. div .Comment

Ok guys heres the news article...
Me va a contestar rápido.

Ok guys I'm gonna translate only the important ****....The first bold part says "Arum: I'm not talking bull****, you can publish this like I'm saying it right now, We challenged DLH to fight Cotto at 147 or 150 and if DLH agrees we will make the fight a PPV event in las vegas on November"
The second part says "Arum: We already talk to Cotto's team and they said OK, I'm waiting for DLH response"
It also says that if DLH doesn't take the fight, Cotto should fight in September and Dicember, or try to get an unification fight"..."If Gatti beats Floyd we will seek an inmediate match with him and instead of fighting twice he will only fight one more fight this year against Gatti"
It also says that if Floyd wins Arum won't match him against Floyd cuz he thinks that he's not ready yet for Floyd...
Btw this **** might happen cuz Bob still owns the following fight of DLH..Comment
