Is it good for an athlete: a boxer, mma fighter, etc. to get some before a fight? Pros or Cons?

I remember Roach saying something about it being bad. He was talking about how giving blood too close to a fight is bad, and he said its just like having sex too close to a fight.

Depends if its with a man or a woman. If its with a woman it weakens a man. I say its bad.
