Actually, Arreola clearly hurt his hand with two plus rounds to go. He had enough gas to throw caution to the wind the final three rounds. Adamek looked more fatigued from my vantage.

I scored the fight 115-113 Adamek. I thought Adamek got on his bike and outboxed Arreola for most of the fight. He looked a little looser than what I have seen from him post-Dawson. While his defense wasn't stellar, his movement was better than in recent past (e.g. vs Cunningham). I think he can be outboxed from 175 to 200+, unfortunately.

Props to Arreola for fighting through the injury. Props to Adamek for following a game plan and boxing his way to a decision.

Am I missing something? Chris was a top ten challenge.

Exactly like I called it a few days ago.

Everyone who thought Chris even had a chance to KO Adamek hasn't watched Adamek fight. Or simply hasn't been paying attention to how Chris boxes.

And yes, my comparison to Chad Dawson not being able to KO Adamek and saying "how on earth do you expect Chris to do it?" was correct.

I will say that Chris showed *better* stamina than previously and some improvement in actual boxing skills and looked in a bit better shape. But Adamek won the day, I scored it 117-111.

Have no idea what judge was scoring 114-114, but he's a moron and should be ashamed of himself.

Guess I have to disagree, Compubox numbers just don't lie. And Adamek, frankly, didn't even look like he was running in this fight (something I thought he would look like he was doing). Thus giving Chris rounds for pushing the action.

I scored 117-111. The numbers just weren't close, and Chris got jacked up, he was clearly the more bruised fighter, meaning Adamek threw the more effective punches.

Angulo looked good but I wasn't really impressed as much as every1 else seems 2 be, he didn't dominate Julio the way Kirkland did. What a fight that would be???? 2 come foward ****ers. 1 thing I give Perrito is that it looks like he hits pretty hard. Arreola is nothin but an unskilled, fat brawler that will get his ass kicked once he steps up in class as we saw against Vitali & just now against Adamek.

Areola is a fat slob who shouldn't come into a fight over 235. He doesn't give himself a chance to win. I like his interviews better than watching that fat ****** fight.

Angulo impressed the heck out of me.

Julio was a different fighter in this fight than the Kirkland fight. He was on his feet, bouncing, and not planting. Kirkland dominated him because he was there to get hit.

Angulo adjusted, went to the body early because he couldn't catch him, and eventually it payed dividends. That's great. A fighter who is able to adjust his game plan and get the desired result.

He didn't impress me as much because I expected more of a domintaing performance from Angulo. Julio definately fought a different fight compared 2 the 1 vs Kirkland & that has 2 be taken into consideration but I can't be impressed when I knew he would knock him out, just wanted 2 see how he did it. That's what I judged it on. I think a fighter who naturally fights the way Julio tried 2 fight 2 night, can beat Angulo.

A fight between Kirkland and Angulo would be interesting. But Angulo wouldn't be as vulnerable as one might think. Angulo is vulnerable to counter punches who can really land with power (like say JMM, but obviously not at 154).

2 guys who only go forward would be interesting, but I actually think Angulo has more stamina than Kirkland. He pours it on late in fights.

Angulo is heavier handed than kirkland.. Plus angulo has a better chin than him
two pressure fighters with power.. But angulo would come out victorious on this one.. Kirkland would get floored in mid rounds
