Kessler was more or less stopped by Ward...no controversy there.
Kessler got the UD in Denmark in a close fight. It was not particularly controversial, just a close fight. That fight in Nottingham may have had a different outcome, but I don't think anyone can seriously claim it was a robbery.
Dirrell outboxed Abraham for the entire fight and Abraham fouled his way to a DQ. That didn't happen because it was in Detroit. It would have happened at any neutral site. The only place where Abraham could have picked up a victory in that fight was Germany, and that would be a result of Dirrell being forbidden from body punching and Abraham being permitted to punch a downed opponent. Detroit did not win Dirrell the fight.
However, the Froch v. Dirrell outcome only happens in Nottingham. That was home cooking.
So, only two fights went to decision. The three stoppages were not the result of home cooking (obviously).
And, only one of the decisions was particularly controversial. I am not claiming this is good -- one out of five is bad -- but it is par for the course, unfortunately.
