Floyd is just 1 black man. Difference is Floyd is a black man watched by millions of people. He is an amplified example regardless if people like it or not. Why not 1 white man setting the example for all white men? There is a stigma on black people already, a negative preconception many people already have towards black Americans. White people have made up these stigmas they don't have to deal with it. Asians are nerds, White people are snitches, Mexicans are illegal immigrants, and blacks have it the worst. Floyd just amplifies that. You think a white woman would get into an elevator without thinking **** in her mind with a black man after watching Floyd on 24/7... You guys are trippin if you don't think Floyd affects perceptions. Naseem is right.

Sup bro, When I heard about Dahmer,Jack The Ripper, Gacy, Manson etc it didnt make me think every white man was a sick serial killer.

What about the Columbine shootings. It didnt make me think every white teen was crazy.

People who think like that are beyond ****** IMO.

There is no excuse for drawing on floyd's actions to reflect that of even most black people. There are plenty of positive images all around for black people. If people think all black people act like floyd when he's promoting a fight then they need to look at their own ignorance.

I agree with this but at the same time I don't feel sorry for floyd if someone like Nasim throws him under the bus like this (considering what Floyd did to Manny Steward).

That was flat out disgusting especially considering 1. Manny Steward has done a lot for young inner city black kids 2. Floyd only said that because he was mad about Manny saying he shouldn't be the top WW because he didn't fight Cotto or Margarito.

I thought that was childish etc, so if the **** gets flipped around on Floyd, I'm not gonna defend him because what comes around goes around.

BTW I disagree with both Nasim and Floyd remarks.......

                  Lets be honest,

Because, I feel this is just bull**** now... I just feel a lot of people are being to sensitive now cuz they just want to **** ride one fighter now....

If Richardson would of said this same comment about another African American fighter not named Floyd Mayweather Jr. Would everybody who is bitching and calling the man a fraud a fake and all that dumb**** still be bitching if was directed toward somebody else not named Floyd?

                  Would this thread even exist?

I never heard any negative comment about Richardson, nobody was bitching before, nobody was saying on how he did jail time. But, ONE NEGATIVE comment to somebody who I guess is a god to some of y'all and Richardson becomes scum.

Some of you guys are just ridiculous...

You gotta understand bro. Not everyone thinks like you dude. White people made black people ****** because they thought black people were inferior. There had to be alot of white people thinking that way for that to happen. There are still white people who think like that today. You can deny that there are still many people out there, not just whites, who have negative associations with black people. Black people suffer the most from negative stereotypes and the fact that Floyd is amplifying that stereotype, regardless of weather it does not represents black behavior or people as a whole, it is still a negative stereotype active in many peoples minds that Floyd is amplifying. On the Flip side though Naseem and Mosley seem to balance it out to show that the stereotype is also looked down upon by black people. Naseem and Mosley negate any effects Mayweather has but I agree with Naseem though man. I have become a fan of his wisdom watching this series.
