All through grade school my mother would be on my back about how I acted, the quality of my work, how I treated my peers, etc. She'd say "What you do reflects upon me. People may not even know me, but when they see you acting up, doing the wrong thing, they automatically judge me based on your actions. "His mother mustn't be raising him right, or his parents allow him to do whatever he wishes, etc". But the same applies for when you're doing right. If you're in school turning in your work on time, being respectful, and staying out of trouble. That to reflects upon me. Instead they'll say "his parents are doing a great job, or he must have a stable support system, etc" So behave, and don't be out there embarrassing me.... " Etc, etc, etc.

Again, I'm attempting to break it down to the simplest of forms. As a fellow black man, Naazim knows the way in which Floyd carries himself, reflects upon his people. People will form their opinions and preconceptions about AA's based upon how they see Floyd act.

People, this is basic. Stop pretending as if the man were out of line.
are you ****in kidding me? This is real life, not grade school. ****m was hating on success. end of.

Any blk man that is successful that gets too much attention, or is too vocal will get scrutiny, and envy, and more. Its what it is.

But all the people that hated Floyd anyway jumpin on this like some kind of holy revelation need to realize where their thought process is slanted from. This ain't prolific. Its garbage.

But how come you feel the need to make a thread addressing ****m richardson being in the wrong but not floyd?

Not all his fans, he has some really good fans. Who I loved to talk and debate with. Who make great points. But, is his extremist fans who will give Floyd a pass for everything but get all sensitive when is something about Floyd.

Here is what I have seen on HBO's Mayweather Mosley 24/7:

                Camp A: profane
                Camp B: profane

                Camp A: ex-convicts
                Camp B: ex-convicts

Camp A: proclaiming they're the best
Camp B: proclaiming they're the best

Camp A: realizing that they are gutter dudes
Camp B: pretending that they are lords of the manor

Keep in mind that he himself is a success, his son is a success, and he's trained two successful fighters. So again, tell me, how's he hating on success?

                  • What exactly are people getting itchy pants over? I just watched the 3rd episode and read the first page of the thread (can't be arsed to read the rest) and am still none the wiser.

His son is only three-ish years younger than Floyd.

What barometer for success are you using?
