People forget the Eubank win for Calzaghe too, that is as good as the Taylor and Pascal win for Froch alone.

The replies of you Calzaghe stans show how ignorant of boxing most of you are. I mean for someone to put Bika, Reid, and the other garbage ass fighters Calzaghe fought as well as the RJJ win and ****ing Jeff Lacy, a guy who was never more than a crude slugger, as career defining wins tells you all you need to know about them. Again the only win Calzaghe has that might carry weight is the B-Hop win, but that decision was very controversial. that is a pathetic career. As for the comment about RJJ being older, doesn't matter, he was shot to hell by the time he and Calzaghe fought.

damn why you guys making excuses and saying Froch lost to a water down Kessler. He didn't take that bad of a beating in his previous fights. Have you guys even seen the fight yet? or just talking out of your ass

Well look at it like this, Hopkins himself would beat Froch pretty easily, I'd like you to dispute that (even after that shocker of a last fight). Kessler just beat Froch tonight and Calzaghe beat an even better version of him fairly easily, Lacy was an undefeated champion in his prime, you can't say that Lacy took no damage from being ****d by Calzaghe + his torn shoulder yet Taylor got knocked down against him and beat him in an unspectacular fashion, the same Taylor who was winning against Froch before he gassed late. Eubank was past his prime, yes but at only 31 years of age is still considered a great win, better than a Taylor who had just lost twice to Mr Average Kelly Pavlik? Absolutely! Dirrell is a good win on paper, but I don't think he really won the fight and Pascal although he's a good fighter and has won a title at 175, he's still unproven.Adrian Diaconu is not a very good fighter.

Well come on, he was hardly an undefeated, undisputed 28 year old Kessler was he?

Styles make fights, I really don't care that Calzaghe beat Kessler, Andre Ward beat Kessler too. The fact is that Calzaghe's long career is filled with nobodies, never was, and has beens. His career defining wins are a shot RJJ and a old ass B-Hop who he won with a controversial decision. Those are the only elite level wins he has in his whole career, those are the only elite level names on his resume, his career was a joke and history will recognize what a terrible paper champ he was.

They don't get it, and they also don't realize Kessler took alot of punishment in the Ward fight too. Fighters aren't made out of steel, they are made out of flesh and bones and the longer they fight the less punch-resistance they will have.
