Why? Because he didn't knock Froch out? Common man, that theory doesn't make sense IMO.

Calzaghe has more boxing skill. Its like Judah vs Tszyu. Granted I believe Judah could have recovered from that early stoppage and made it a fight, I dont believe he would have dominated despite the speed advantage. Its the same with Dirrell and Calzaghe. Dirrell may edge him but Joe's savvy keeps it close. I would even pick Joe but I agree with Dirrell. A 30 year old RJJ would pace Joe pretty easily.

No, because he didn't, simply. Many journalists had Froch winning a close decision. I think it could have gone either way but Froch was in his hometown so he got the decision. You may think Dirrell won, but it certainly was not clearly.

Your response to the poster that said Dirrell/Ward would both beat Calzaghe was "Direll couldn't even beat Froch clearly." which I took as you implying that if Dirrell didn't beat Froch clearly that he would not be able to beat Calzaghe. You, yourself, admit that it could have gone either way (and possibly got the hometown nod), so it was not a clear decision for Froch either... so I guess I don't get the logic of your statement. I apologize if I misinterpreted what you were getting at, but that's how I read it.

What I mean is Dirrell hasn't shown a great performance so far against an opponent even close to Calzaghe's caliber, and against Froch who is a far inferior opponent than Calzaghe, he lost, even if it was controversial. Acting like Dirrell would school Calzaghe, like that guy was doing, is clearly idiotic.

Okay, thank you for clarifying it. I guess I don't have to ask who you think would win between Calzaghe/ Froch LOL. I respect your opinion.

                    Calzaghe vs

Andre Ward - gets beaten up like Kessler by decision

Andred Dirrel - losses a decision but much closer then against the other Andre

Abraham - Calzaghe wins a lopsided decision

Allan Green - Green catches him with something and gets him out of there by TKO

Vs Froch - Joe wins a close decision.
