It's too bad that there's no money at CW. I don't think Adamek has the frame to absorb very many HW punches. He looked shocked even by some of Arreola's glancing blows.

Still doing pretty decent for a guy that was a LHW champ not that long ago. And I'm pretty sure he'd have been knocked out if he tried to go toe to toe with Cris, except like you say when Cris was extremely gassed, but by then he'd developed a pattern.

I was there with my fam. I took my wife n 3 boys to watch our local boxer fight. Adamek was game. I had it 115 to 113 Arreola. A great close fight between 2 of the top 7 heavyweights. Citizen Business Park is a great venue for boxing. Angulo vs Julio was also a great way to start.

        ?

Adameks footwork IMO was not very good in this fight. But Adamek did not run, he moved in and out most of the fight, that's not running. He engaged and surprisingly there was not much clinching in this fight.

I think he could have gone after Chris more, but Adamek is still adjusting to HW, and Chris is a big puncher, he may have just been being cautious and testing himself.

He got caught clean a couple times and was never really hurt. So yes, I think Adamek can compete at this level.
