that is wishful thinking. landing accurate, sharp, pot shots is not the same as stunning and hurting your opponent.

floyd does not fight in combinatins anymore, it is a fact. and he doesnt have one punch knockout power.

floyd had clean and accurate pot shot punches on jmm and even tho knocked him down he never had him hurt or in trouble.
even tho shane is 38, the things you dont lose with age is a boxers punch or his chin. fast twitch mm fibers are what decline, but there are adjustments around that.

scar tissue? shane has never had a problem with scar tissue opening up.
how many fights has he been cut in to have scar tissue?

btw, gatti was past his prime and shot during the floyd fight, may he rip.

That's a long shot but who knows. Shane was never known for his defense, and when those bad habits kick in he does get a tad wreckless. Anything is possible.

maturity and situation add growth in life. shane went thro a divorce and is out a lot of money. he feels very comfortable and is confident with what naz is teaching and implementing. point being, he understands if he wins this fight how crucial it will be to a mega fight and mega money with pac or a rematch with floyd. i think he understands physical age and the adjustments needed.
he also understands now, how important gameplans and styles are.

i agree, like u and i both stated, floyd is overall the better boxer with superior skills, but floyd is also 33 and has been very inactive for the last what, 4 years? he will have some adjusting to do...

I don't know why people don't think Shane can adjust?He adjusted in both Hoya fights and in the Cotto fight as well.He is a elite fighter how do people feel he can't learn new things in boxing?Look at Hoya MAB B-hop and soon to be Cotto oh lets not forget Pacmonster who is still learning.This is going to be a good fight I don't Underestimate May I just don't understand why so many underestimate Shane.

thats because shane always felt he could just take what people threw at him and walk through it...which was true except vernon...rip.

he will not have that attitude in this fight, he didnt against margacheato, he didnt against collazo, after feeling cottos power he adjusted and boxed in that fight as well.
