Part of me feels Cotto is ruined but if anyone get him back to the top it's Emanuel Steward. He just needs to relax and use his jab more, If he does that and just lets his other punches come naturally. He used to be like this at 140 and at 147 when he fought Malignaggi and Mosley.

Good **** coming from a *****. 2 bad Floyd never got in there with Cotto b4 he killed himself fighting the top Welterweights available, unlike Floyd. I bet if he beats Mosley, he's the GOAT 2 you. News flash, Cotto did that already. Only thing I give Floyd credit 4 at 147 is 4 avoiding Margacheato, good move on his part. He would have gotten plastered up 4 sure.

The reason those other guys can do that is because of their power. I'm not saying they aren't skilled because they are. But it's just that when you fight in lower weight classes body punching is something that you need to be skilled at and if Steward trains Cotto to fight like those guys I mentioned above, his body work will probably be non-existant. Margarito, Clottey, Mosley, and Pac all shut down his body punchig game, so I don't know if that matters that much or not. But Steward needs to get Cotto to go back to his body punching.

That may not work for Cotto. If it does, great!!! If not, I will not be suprised.

Steward has already said Cotto needs to go back to the body..that he was a devastating body puncher and somewhere along the way he fell in love with his power of knocking *****s domes off...so that should end any more posts about that..but it wont...cuz some of ya dont know **** about boxing...

Really, please explain to me what I don't knowl.

Some of you cats that have put me in your post, have no clue what you are talking about.

Cotto does need to start going back to the body, but what does that have to do with anything I said about Steward? And his teachings?

Please explain what I don't know...Mr. Know it all.

Well that is all well and good but the whole thing about bad habits is they tend to pop up at the worst times (during tough fights). Even though I think Foreman will test Cotto it will be a much different kind of test which is good so they will be able to build on this two camps on a row.

Although fixing those flaws really is not focusing on Foreman but I guess it is best to get yourself right first then work on the fight, but it it possible he could end up ill prepared for Foreman.

It is not impossible but it takes time to really weed out flaws like this.

steward is on the right track.

better movement will make cotto a moving target instead of a stationary target (epsecially on the ropes).

more head movement will stop the over-hand right from landing

and closing up the gap under his chin will help prevent him from getting hit w/ the uppercut.

having said all that, I dunno if this training is gonna help him w/ foreman. cotto is gonna have to work on his offense to cut off the ring and punish foreman

You know what, **** all the dumb ****!!!!

All I have said is, im not sure the Stewrad/Cotto experiment will work.

That's it. If it does, great for Cotto and Steward. If not, I will not be surprised.

I really think some of you cats need to stop viewing everything as hate.

Learn, comprehend, and understand what folks are saying before you post at them.

That other guy might have been hating, but just cause I agree with one line in his whole post, I don't know ****.

Get the **** off your high horse. I don't claim to be a know it all. Never will, but I know the sport...Whether you like it or not.
