so what makes the superman punch so "gay" compared to the gazzelle punch that Tyson,Frazier,Patterson use??? Only difference is 1 is a right cross while the other is a left hook.

Roy Jones does it often. Victor Ortiz tried it on Maidana. If you watch enough boxing you'll see it. It's just that boxers do it in a very compact motion.

Boxing's Superman Punch = Quick leap forward with the cross as the lead. Nice and compact, usually followed up by the lead hand hook.

MMA's Superman Punch = Giant Diving Leap with a Hail Mary Cross punch.

An elite boxer would LOVE their opponent to try the MMA Superman Punch.
