You can see the endotrachial tube still in his mouth from where somebody tried to resuscitate him. You can also see the bruise just above the adams apple where the crouch of the pants pressed against the throat.

Sorry, but it is standard procedure to remove as much evidence from the suspect at the scene of the crime, especially when it involves a murder and that suspect is being fully co-operative.

When the police arrest someone that is suspected of a serious crime they take the suspect to a secure location, they are not going to take him back to the scene of the crime so he can change clothes. With crimes like murders the area is taped off for the forensic team. Please think before you type.

If his clothes were blood stained why risk any possible contamination or incidents on the way to the police station when they could be removed there and then?

They are not going to disturb the crime scene any more than they needed to and they are certainly not going to do a suspect any favours. They arrested him at the reception and took him straight to the police station.

How is it doing him favours, its in the interest of the police.

Also why was Valero wearing a hat, do you think police are going to not check that to see if there is not anything on under it? Why would they let him put it back on?
