    He took the risk and fought a slick American boxer. Could you say that about most people??

      eh, i think the weight wasn't suiting him well at that point. he didn't look as aggressive as usual. some people say it was just bad strategy, that he tried to box with dawson instead of roughing him up like johnson but that being his last fight at lh raises questions.

Why do you think I said a mix between Calzaghe, Margarito, and Abraham?

        Calzaghe= speed, stamina, work-rate

        Margarito= good chin in his prime, work-rate, pressure fighter

        Abraham= power
        OK, no worries. I thought you meant stylistically similar to Calzaghe in the manner of throwing punches, hence my bringing up Adamek's similarity in that sense.

        As for the rest... yes, but all those attributes for Arreola can be thoroughly neutralised. Vitali laid down that blueprint.

            That said, Vitali is one talented mother ****er. I don't know if Adamek is as good as Vitali or not. Will find out this Saturday.

                Different strengths between them, but IMO they share certain stylistic elements such as punching from weird angles and dropping the shoulders/elbows below the optimum height. It results in a somewhat inefficient platform which makes it harder to get off punches in the same way as a guy with shoulders hunched up and arms ****ed & loaded near the face.

                The latter being a good example of the difference between Vitali and Wlad's fighting styles. Totally, totally different.

                  Adamek and his Trainer Gmitruk wanted this fight.

                  Switching to Buddy "poisen" Mcgirt as his trainer was a big mistake too. Buddy came up with the genius notion of trying to turn the pressure fighting Adamek into some kind of cute boxer.

                  Anyways i also like how he's in the ring every 2-3 months. No 2 farce fights a year followed by "we aren't taking any offers, David needs to rest after a hard year" bull****.

                    i re-wached the Minto fight today. If Arreola fights like he did there then i like Adamek's chances. Little 5'10 Minto was landing the jab, landing combo's and having some success. He was just too small.

                      Adamek can win this if he employs Vitali's strategy of lateral movement and profuse punching from different angles to keep Arreola off balance. He can't meet the bull head-on or he'll get run over.
