Seeing as how Mosley doesn't have the same legs/ doesn't commit to the jab; Mayweather should box. Do what he does best. Around the 7th/ 8th, Mayweather should start mixing it up.

Mayweather should exploit those two weaknesses to assure his victory.

Having seen all of Mayweather's 40 fights, the last thing I'm concerned about is Floyd being misguided in the ring.

not gonna happen. floyd is smart. the reason he stopped throwing is not because theres anything wrong with his hands, it's because he knows full well he doesnt have the kind of power at welter that would have opponents running scared. They'd walk right through his best shots and counter him to oblivion.

So instead he picks his shots and racks up the points. Not the most exciting way to win but it gets the job done.

PBF will get KO'd if he tries to put hurt on Shane. His best bet is to stick and move.

Neither time it happend. I like to still give him a little out and say that Hatton smothered him & he was just cautious against JMM due to rust and the fact that JMM looked like a Cobra who might catch Floyd if he did. However, I admit that some of that might just be me not wanting to face the reality of what alot of Floyd critics say about him never ever fighting that way again.

I still have one hope though and that one hope is actually Floyd Senior. It sounds crazy to say that he is the hope when back in the day he was more known for being the defensive coach and Roger the Offensive but Ive seen some good signs. 1st off he brought Floyd's jab back last fight which is a good start. 2nd, I was actually shock & pleasently surprised that after the JMM fight, Senior seemed happy but also a little dissapointed. He openly talked about Floyd letting his hands go which I never hear much from the Mayweather camp anymore.

He still gave Jr a little out by saying that it was mostly due to rust but he said that from now on he will start letting them go more and from all accounts, it seems Floyd has that type of mindset in this camp for the 1st time in a long time. Floyd himself has talked about going at Shane. Now he says some stuff like that in every fight but he actually sounded different this time. Then we are hearing better reports out of camp then in times past. With that being said, Roger did give another interview last week asking how is Shane going to deal with Floyd's movement and how is he going to keep Floyd still. Now Floyd can still let his hands go alot while doing that because he did it when he was younger but it still made me have that feeling like he was going to be boxing & pot shotting again.

Its also weird because I think the opponent may hurt Floyd. No doubt Floyd is alot more stronger & physical than people give him credit for but I could also still see Floyd letting his hands go alot more against a Bradley, Berto, Pac, Williams, and even a Martinez than he would against Mosley. Shane just has that kinda strong, power style that if Floyd fights that way then its going to be what Shane wants and he will think he can impose himself on the smaller Mayweather. I would love to see it though and I honestly think Floyd will fight that way from the very jump.

I think he actually comes out more at Shane, meets him in the Center, start it with the jab, and then tries to beat him to the punch & land combos while using good foot movement. I think thats how it will start for the 1st 1-3 rounds. My wonder is can Floyd fight that way after that and still hold off Mosley. Therefore my questions to everyone are do you think Floyd can fight that way again, if he did then how will the fight play out, and do you think that makes him harder or easier to beat for all the opponents he may face like the guys I mentioned earlier, Cotto, Margarito, and so on
If he tries that, Shane catches him and knocks his head into the second row. I think Floyd will win, but only if he fights his fight.

I truly think he will mix it up via styles he fought gatti with in the late rounds, de la hoya in the mid rounds, and marquez early with smart boxing but who knows gotta wait n see

I disagree with the people who think that because he lets his hands go, that Shane will rock him. He may win a fight in the same manner that JLC gave Floyd problems but he's not just going to be tagging Floyd non stop or hurting him badly just because Floyd lets his hands go. His D right now is too good for that to happend. Maybe if Shane was a lefty but a righty cant crush him like that
