looks like Cintron's knees were off the ground as the ref was saying '10'.

the ref was doing a bad job, but I think it was fair to let the fight continue.

That is what I said on fight night and argued with a ton of people about it, he was pretty lucky the fight didn't get stopped most refs would have.

Not saying he couldnt have continued, he wasnt that hurt, but the ref did say ten, waved the fight off, but because of the debate allowed it to continue. Poor job by him, he should have let his word been the final say and taken more authority. Some other refs wouldnt have been swayed by a debate.

          yea, he was fairly incompetent.

Its probably due to the fact taht Martinez was robbed that night of a win...If he had gotten the decision, its unlikely that nearly as many people would be up in arms about Martinez 'deserving' the knockout.(which I dont think he got, although it was pretty snappy punch)

I agree, many thought Martinez was robbed of a decision and made more of the 7th round debacle because of it. What was disgusting to me was that Cintron saying he thought he won the fight, I know deep down inside he was happy he got the draw.

getting up & up is to different things. Unless I'm wrong the count should continue until you are on ur feet then you get check to see if you can go on. Cintron wasn't up yet so the ref said 10. End of fight then Martinez put it on him more.
