Newsflash: Boxing doesnt have height and reach classes.

Just wanted to inform certain posters who say Paul Williams should fight people his height and that he shouldnt be a WW.

His only loss came to a WW.

    Who stands 5-9.

    That is all.

Sure it doesn't but there is also nothing stopping him from moving up in weight either which never seems to cross his mind when he and his promoter say nobody wants to fight me because he's the most avoided man in boxing. I mean he does have the frame for it so whats the excuse?

Lucian Bute is there without an opponent so whats stopping the guy? Obviously it's the fact that he wont be fighting a 5ft 7in Verno Phillips who he "can" throw 200 punches a round against.

How did you feel when Williams lost to quintana Burner? ;p

I personally do feel he took him lightly, but that's he's own problem.

Why the hell would he try and fight a guy who steps in the ring over 180 Pounds?

Williams weighed in at 156 for a Middleweight fight. Are you serious?

Bute needs to fight 168 Pounders. Not guys who can make 147.

His camp didnt prepare right. They didnt even have any lefties in camp. Quintana took care of business then a ready Williams destroyed him.

Sometimes the logic on this board is just scary.

Bute really has come in over 180 pounds??? I always thought he would come in between 174-178 range.

When was the last time Williams did 147?? If he can make 147, why doesn't he go back to 147??

Could it occur to you Quintana might of had an off night like Williams' in the 1st fight??

Williams said he feels pretty comfortable at 147. But who will he fight there?

                  Aydin?

                  Bums?

                  Journeyman?

No one there that will fight him.

                  154-160 is fine.

He campaigned there for a long time and couldn't get any big fights. Did you only start watching boxing in the last year?
