That cuts 7,000,000 to 3,500,000 right off the top. Then you have to factor in production costs which is usually a few hundred thousand, minimum.
That right there puts the profit from PPV alone well below the 3,500,000 mark.
Add the fact that paid attendance was around 4,000 and you have the math completed: zero dollars for Roy as the fight didn't exceed 3.5 million in profit.Comment

even if it was just 51/49.
hopkins screwed that up.
he didn't deserve 50/50.
he didn't get 50/50 against tito. he didn't get 50/50 against delahoya.
roy might not deserved the 70-75 that tito and delahoya got but he was the bigger name , he was the winner of the 1st fight , he was the higher ranked fighter.
he deserved the 60-40 he was asking for.Comment

a damn shame for Roy.. i would say fight 1 more fight so you dont leave on a loss but im afraid if he might get knocked out again.. he definately has a glass jaw now... sucks.. Im a big Roy fan.. wish he didnt put himself through all this bull****..Comment
