Also if they never fought people would laugh at you if they told you Kirklang Lang could beat Duran...but guess what he did. That was my whole point, yet you keep stalking me from thread to thread bring that up and twisting my words.
And what makes you think that version of Corrales or Castillo was better than Cotto
when Floyd beat Corrales, Diego only signi***ant wins was Manfredy, ****ty version of Derrick Gainer, and Roberto Garcia
When Floyd beat Castillo, outside of two wins over Johnston (which very controversial btw) what other wins did Castillo have leading up to that
Cotto on the other hand beat guys like Quintana, Malignaggi, Bailey, Corley,
Mosley, and Clottey to name a few.
No way in hell was Castillo and Corrales ever better than Cotto.

"Honestly as talented as Pac is, I could defiantly see him beating whitaker and duran. I could also see both beating Pac because all three are not only talented but beatable.
"If Jose Luis Ramirez (who Pac is way more talented than) can beat a prime Whitaker, why can't Pacquiao. Same with Duran. I feel Manny is more talented that Kirklang Lang and Lang beat a prime Duran.
And everybody knows Whitaker beat Ramirez winning at the least 10 out of 12rounds. This shows what kind of boxing fan and poster you truly are.Last edited by Calilloyd; 04-23-2010, 03:44 PM.

You didn't make your statement look any less ignorant with this explanation here. And this is a boxing forum which means we'll probably cross paths at some point. Either you should have studied harder in school or you need to get a dictionary to learn the true definition of "stalking". And to answer your question about how Corrales was more dangerous at that point, he was A. Unbeaten. B. in his prime. Something Cotto clearly is not and was not. You're not a boxing fan. You're a cheerleader that breaks everything down based on your emotions with no intellect or common sense whatsoever.
I noticed you didn't respond to anything I said.
I'm a huge Diego Corrales fan. But sorry, Diego was completely unpolished compared to PBF.
Diego isn't even a HOF fighter. I say that loving the man, his style of boxing, and for giving us simply one of the greatest rounds ever in the history of the sport. (Seriously, who gets knocked down 2X and gets up and TKOs the other guy!)
Prime Diego is not anywhere close to Cotto. Not even close. Cotto came back and proved he wasn't shot by beating Clottey. You know, Clottey the only guy to even survive the Pacman storm in the last few years.
Who's comparing educations on an online Forum......
FAAAAAAAAAAILLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL.
Cotto is done? Funny, Ring Magazine has him #7 P4P. He'd be in my top 10 as well except for he hasn't fought since his loss. Aside from losing to Manny, who hasn't he been in with and tested by?
He was beating Marg easy until later in the fight, and we all know exactly why. Didn't seem to have any trouble beating Shane mosely or Zab Judah. A guy Floyd defenders love to count as a "Good win against a great fighter."
Give me a break.
Manny = 8 HOF fights in 5 years.
Floyd = 2 HOF fights in entire career.
This is not even an argument about who fighter of the decade was. That's called being objective, SON.

Of course he's jealous.
It's not like he can just wait ten years for another one...I mean he could but that's highly unlikely.

And 7 of those fights were P4P ranked at the time they were fought.
2003 Marco Antonio Berrera #43 Boxer *All-time* by ESPN.com
2004 JMM
2005 Erik Morales #49 Boxer *All-time* by ESPN.com
2006 Erik Morales 2X
2007 Marco Antonio Berrera
2008 JMM
2008 ODLH #39 Boxer *All-time* by ESPN.com
That's 8 HOF fights. Everyone of those guys was P4P at the time of the fight, (except ODLH in 2008), or because Manny beat Erik 2X in 2006 it pushed him off the list.
Floyd:
2007 ODLH
2009 JMM
I am being objective.
The only other fighters Floyd has fought that *might* be HOF would be Diego Corrales (I don't think he is, but he may get in because of his untimely death). Or Ricky Hatton - which is laughable that he'd even be considered, but that is the state of boxing today.
I'm sorry it hurts.
Manny has fought the best he could find at all times since 2003. If there was a fight with a guy people thought could beat him, it got made.
The other guy, simply has not fought the best at all times. And it shows in the level of competition. Period.
