What was the most exciting boxing moment (so far) of 2010?

Beginning this week starts off a long string of high profile fights that go on into the summer. I thought that this kinda formed a natural break in the boxing year.

So what was the most exciting boxing moment 2010 for you so far?

    One of these two:

    1. Devon Alexander becoming a star by becoming the first to KO Juan Urango

    2. Sergio Martinez becoming the new Middleweight champ and setting up one of the most anticipated fights (and rematches) of the year with Williams

Personally? Pac getting 50k in Dallas Stadium. That was a great atmosphere I was there... It was really close to the Tito-Vargas atmosphere...

I agree, that was exciting too. Just looking at the overview was my favorite part of the entire event (not taking a shot at Pacquiao, by the way. Clottey was responsible for the stinker anyways).

I have to go with Martinez since that was for the real 160 championship and the division has been ass for longer than I can remember so maybe Sergio can do something with it.

I liked the Dirrell fight but with the way that ended I can't give that the top spot and I liked Alexander also but still I have to give Martinez the nod.

Yea the atmosphere was really neat at that fight. Every time they zoomed out after the round and showed the jumbo tron and stuff. It was disorienting because you didn't know if you were looking directly at the fighters or through the big screen.

I won money on the Martinez fight, so when he was tearing Pavlik's ass up in the later rounds especially was great.

Escalante-Roman is FOTY, Klitschko-Chambers is KOTY both of them very clear so far.

For me it was Kameda-Wonjongkam. I stayed up for that fight and Wonjongkam won a close but clear and competitive decision. It was a good fight.

And as Gambler mentioned for Martinez-Pavlik, Kameda-Wonjongkam was for the real flyweight championship. It also crowned a new Ring champion.

Ah yea I forgot about the Escalante Roman fight. Man that was a barn burner. Definitley one of the best FNF in a long time. That had a great atmosphere to. I liked how they built it up as a childhood rivalry where they used to brawl against eachother in Juarez, Mexico
