skills when fights. not philosophical trainers who are over hyped b/c their fighter is just not fighting the best fighter of the era.

These are the kind of guys I support and place my fanship in the sport of boxing. Guys that stand for higher ideals and symbolically represent them in the ring. Guys that take their physical gifts and stretch them to the brink of death for the sake of glory/legend - for that lasts much longer than flesh and bones, guys that take those physical gifts and prove you can far exceed your lot in life through heart and will, and see it as their responsibility to do so. Guys that recognize the power a World Champion has and the effect he is capable of on the world around him. The Mayweathers are human trash OUTSIDE the ring as human beings (you can claim it's for the camera and that they're actually decent people but that's BS, bc in front of the camera is when they should represent their true colors the most - the bad boy/villain charade is a crock, redundant, & unnecessary - Cotto/Pac didn't need a villain to sell PPVs), then as competitors they're as wack is it comes - it took 5-6 yrs for Floyd to fight a worthy fighter in his weight class and he still fights only for a paycheck (altho he has 10s of millions and several generations are set financially) cuz hes a "prize fighta you dumb motha ****a" but boxing isnt like any other sport - it is a personification of the human condition, it's a demonstration of the limitless power of a man's heart/mind/will, it is where entire nations' morals can be lifted. Champions of boxing have a different responsibility and are held at a much higher stature than any other sport by far. Floyd is unfortunately in a position of great power in this unique sport, and to fight ONLY for money (and spite/slander those that don't) is to spit in the face of the deep history of the sport, the fans that make it possible, and He who gave you the gifts which made it possible.

There are PLENTY of fighters that recognize all of the above and would agree wholeheartedly. And even more may not see their chosen profession as that important/glorified but at least sport an enviable competitor's spirit. Floyd has NOTHING but a gift from God and great work ethic.

I undoubtedly come off as mellow dramatic, but when you say you "just like boxing" well i "just love boxing", its my longest standing passion, second to girls and its the only reason why i'd bother writing this.

I don't think people are going overboard. I think ****m is very charismatic.

I think its the mayweather's fault that nazeem gets so much love because of the contrast between them.

now put nazeem in there with a team that is more respectful and you'd lose the contrast and maybe also the likeability.

In away it is people are being enlighten you know.If this is the first time you ate ice cream and you like it alot and want to talk about it then what are you a 2$ slut then?When you don't know something and you find out about it and if it looks good to you won't you wanna talk about it?I been knowing about ****m for awhile I'm happy he is talk about like this and I'm happy the way he is handling him self as well.Let the man shine and the people who don't know him let them get to know the man who help Sugar Shane take May's 0.

Its one thing to be enlightened and its a whole other thing to jump on a bandwagon. You reading and assuming things that I didn't say. I have no problem with people talking about ****m, he deserves that actually he been deserved that. But you can't tell me if Mosley was fighting what some feel is a more likeable guy he would be getting all this praise. That is what I am talking about. You know some people are giving him that praise even though he deserves just because of who he is fighting. Like I said in my other post I am not saying everybody is doing it but a lot are.

Being completely honest answer this question. If Mosley loses May 1st how many of these people that are on the ****m Richardson bandwagon and heaping all this praise right now still gonna say he is a great trainer?

well for once pbf will be fighting someone who matches up with him in a fight where even though he's the favorite he's pretty well matched

all of pbf's past fights have been against old timers, smaller fighters stepping up in weight or just plain miss matches (baldomir) so this will be in my eyes the only fight where he can acutally loose, and i hope he does

mayweather pretends to be all hard for 24/7 but he is a little ***** in real life, with a ton of child hood trauma that no matter how much money he gets will never get rid of

hes only fought 2 fighters who moved up n weight he has been out weighed in alot of his fights man

i've watched almost all floyd's fights including his first one against castillo where he lost. Since the rematch floyd has not faced a top fighter who is a real threat. He dodged cotto and margarito like they were the ****ing plague. **** the two guys made him retired. He had awful boring fights with judah, baldomir, oscar, hatton (a nice knockout though) and marquez ( who he missed weight for). Floyd is a fraud. His wins are not that impressive. Should he lose to mosley on may 1st it will be ****ing hilarious. Mosley is getting old and hasn't been in the ring for 16months. If he loses to mosley it will only prove that guys like cotto were always better than this piece of **** fraud. Pressure is on floyd.

what would it prove if he wins easily solly? My thing is i hear u but the guy is a professional fighter who has fought other professional fighters and won... There is more to the cotto marg story but im not going there anymore its pointless im sure he would have beat them though... And his wins are not impressive to people who dont appreciate the art of boxing its all styles buddy!

If they know anything about boxing I would hope so.****m has earned it he has paid his dues and don't take cheap shots at anybody if they are just on him because he going against May I hope they become true fans.
