The thing is he's headed in the right direction, anyone who thought he was gonna come in 20 pounds lighter is dillusional or just ******ed. Thats a lot of weight to drop because you also need to add in another 20 pounds that he lost from whatever he weighed before training camp even started. It's not like he weighed 263 at the Minto fight and stayed at that weight for the next 4 months and didn't gain any weight back.who gives a **** if he was 13lbs lighter than his past fight? His past fight he ballooned up like 15lbs from his previous fights which were all in the 250 range. So basically he didn't really lose weight he just went back to the fat **** he was previously before his last fight which was the anomaly.Comment

Really? They must have changed recently because last time I checked Adamek was the favourite. Just checked betfair.com, for example Adamek is the favourite there. The odds are close so noone is being protected, let's leave it at that.Last edited by Pirao; 04-22-2010, 05:39 PM.Comment

Ugh he's 6 ft 3in and no you don't have to be proud of him but when someone is "losing" weight you cant exactly say he's a fat ass who is eating cheesburgers. You don't lose weight eating cheeseburgers now do you?
Seriously 23 pounds to get to 240 plus add the 20 extra pounds he had on him before he started trainng camp and you got 40 ***ing pounds lost in a 6-8week span. Thats unhealthy for any man and if you don't agree well all I got to say is this is what happens when you lose to much weight to fast before a big fight.

I'm not a porker, but I voted for the #2 option:
Who cares if he's fat? He's an exciting fighter IMO.Comment

@ the thread title. A tad harsh, but it's funny.
