Ha, just realized that Garcia was born in Reynosa, Mexico and lives in Weslaco, Tx. I'll be going down there at the end of May.

Using plaster doesn't make Margo a bum from one day to the next but it definately takes some luster off his record.

Well let's see how he looks in victory. Garcia certainly is no bum or tune-up, but a win over him still doesn't necessarily determine Margarito's worth as a top level operator.

Personally I don't expect Margarito's skills to have regressed but I'll be carefully watching to see if his two prize assets - his chin and his power - are the same after the amount of punishment he took against Shane and Cotto, and for the fact that we'll know for sure he won't be using illegal handwraps henceforth. If his chin looks sturdy and his power formidable I don't see why he can't recapture top welterweight form again.
