He was clearly ahead on the score cards when he ran into a silly punch and when he went against the rope to defend himself he hit a camera man's Television camera and went down and wasn't able to continue and thus defeated by TKO, pretty bizarre fight to tell you the truth. Neither Kauffman or Grano are anything more than at their best middle level B fighters. I mean someone like Brian Minto, Tony Thompson or even Audley Harrison would defeat them any given dayWell it sounds like it was a bogus result, so let's not write him off completely, yet.

I watched that fight and Kauffman was garbage...
He gassed himself out as well...
He won't make much noise in the HW Division...
I wouldn't even say he's B level, more like CComment

In this day and age why does the color of a persons skin still something that should even be mentioned about a fighter?Comment

Travis Kauffman used to spar with Brian Minto when he was a teenager and used to give Minto the business. I think anyone who saw that sparring would disagree strongly with you there.Comment

I would say that it was a lesson well-learned by a young man who made some mistakes. I was there with him when he fought that night, he didn't eat anything the day of the fight because he was worried he'd look fat on TV. It sounds crazy to think that but he really is image conscious.Comment
