Of course you can win a fight with just jabbing!
Its boring yes but if you dont get hit you can win it with the jab alone.

At least 70 percent of the posts in this thread are either plain ****** or, well, plain ******. You guys don't know **** about Sturm yet you keep talking about how he's too weak and hasn't anything but an ok jab. I'm sick and tired of prooving you wrong over and over again.

Lets do it like this. I'll bet 250,000 on Sturm not getting KOed by Trindad if they fight each other next year. Any takers?

And if someone's interessted I'll do a RoundbyRound coverage of Sturm - Cherifi tonight.

Wow, good job by Sturm. Any way to get this fight?

By the way, I still say Trinidad beats him after a tough start.

I'll send whoever wants it a PM when it's available for download. I think Sturm loses a bad decision on the cards after a slow start. Quick combos from Sturm tonight...

Listen, Tito's power is the most underrated thing in boxing. People still don't learn after watching him KO so many mofos. Look at Vargas (first and 12th round), Joppy, and even DLH (who ran like a chicken, I might add). Everyone gets KO'd or runs once they feel the power Tito brings to the ring.

Sturm is a good fighter (still B level, but good) but is not on par with Tito. Tito KO's him in 9. That jab will only work for the first few rounds but when Tito sees that Sturm can't hurt him (and Sturm couldn't KO Ivan Calderon) then he will walk right through the punches and KO him.
Bernard Hopkins felt Tito Trinidad's power and I don't recall him running in the fight. Why didn't you mention him?

As far as the comment earlier on how Hopkins wouldn't hurt Tito if they met again in the ring...bull****. You act as if you need an iron glove to hurt Tito's weak chinned ass...and Hopkins already has exactly what it takes to out-do Tito. And Tito won't go head-hunting like he did in 2001, why the hell not? You think just because he saw he was successful by going to body with Ricardo Mayorga that he will become a body snatcher against Hopkins...I doubt it, Hopkins will kill'em with straight punches all night and then close distance and take him apart on the inside..

As far as Tito vs. Sturm goes, I see Tito winning a close decision, maybe even a gift decision. I think Sturm will terrorize him all night, though. I agree Sturm does have a Tight body, and if Tito tries to hunt for the body without first landing a jab, or blinding him with a straight punch he's going to get eaten by Sturm's jab..

If you are going to rewrite my post just quote me, then. I just can't take your opinion seriously since a lot of your posts show that you don't like Trinidad. Well, it's not that you don't like Trinidad, you hate him. Trinidad does not have a weak chin, he was dropped only once after 11 effective rounds by Hopkins. I never said that he would take Hopkins if he used body punches, so that came from you. I did not even guarantee that Trinidad would win, just that the rematch will be different and way more competitive.

FINALLY! A sane person who actually knows something about Sturm. Did you see the fight today? I'm waiting for the download but I heard he was throwing quick combos. I'll bet everything I got on Sturm not getting KOed by Trinidad or anyone else for that matter.

You must really be a diehard Sturm fan. That is some blind faith.
