Comments Thread For: Valuev, Solis Tell Their Promoters 'Make The Fight Happen'

Russian paper Reklama reports former WBA heavyweight champion Nikolai Valuev and Olympic gold medal winner Odlanier Solis have told their respective promoters to make the fight. The WBC ordered the two heavyweights to a mandatory fight. The winner meets champion Vitali Klitschko, who defends against Polish champion Albert Sosnowski on May 29 in a voluntary defense. Germany would be the likely location...

    ...to rob Solis.

Valuev is a big fanny. Why wasn't he screaming for his promoters to make the Vitali fight?!? Now, he's in a WBC eliminator for some BS reason to face Vitali? Makes no sense. I'm sick of these jokers bottling fights with the Klits...Povetkin, Haye, Valuev...etc

Hopefully Solis ends this big oaf's career for the good of boxing. Valuev is a disgrace to boxing

Valuev should have been yelling at king to take the 2.5 mil.

If Valuev takes this fight it's because he knows he just has to survive and he'll get the decision, another incoming robbery folks.

The way Solis has been going, he might outweigh Valuev by fight-time. I think Solis trains at Burger King.

Valuev DID scream for his promoters to make the Vitaly fight happen. I was the payday of his life.

But what's the use? Do you seriously think Don King cares? Do you think he will work in a fighters best interest, when its not in his own best interest?

The promoters have ****ed Valuev bigtime.

This is probably going to be Valuev's toughest fight to date. I'm picking Solis by TKO(NOT KO). But I could see Solis just put on a one-sided beating on the giant for 12 rounds, and winning like all 12 rounds.

And even if he did that, Solis' would probably still get robbed.
