the same reason why AA's peekaboo defense was a flaw against the right kind of boxer who could exploit it.

so tell me. what are 3 flaws of SRR? of a prime Ali??
There are 2 other very complete fighters right there. As for Ray, he could be a bit open defensively sometimes, his game was very offensive and he was hittable. His technique could also get a little loose at times. But his speed let him get away with that. But still, not much there.

As for prime Ali, one thing I will say is that he is lucky he was never matched up against a really great technician with the timing and ability to close the distance quickly on him, because a guy like that could have made him pay for his fundamentally unsound defence, like leaning way back with his hands down etc

A guy like Holmes who was both very mobile and technically sound could have caught Ali out and given him a taste of the canvas for that stuff.

If Wlad had faster feet, was a bit smaller (I can't see a guy his size being able to close the distance on Ali fast enough) and had a bit more damn initiative he could do the same.

        1. He doesnt have to throw combinations to win hes proved that. No? He sstill the most accurate boxer in the history of the sport since compubox was introduced.

        2. He KO'd Hatton and dropped JMM. His punches are fine.

        3. He backs into the ropes and doesnt get a glove layed on him.
Damn. I was about to write the exact same points you wrote.

            1. He won't man up and fight Vitali or Wlad

            2. He gets hit more than 5 times in a fight. You can't be a good defensive fighter and get hit that many times

            3. He couldn't control Bob Arum's mind in 2006 and force him to make a Margarito fight

            What a fraud...

I know of Mayweather's flaws. I won't reveal them, though.

His only flaw is his big mouth. Then when he gets in the ring , he'll punch then grab or run around in circles. Its working so far.

i can only think of two flaws:

                    he doesn't have any balls.

Pac couldn't KO Marquez with those straight lefts after knocking him down three times in the first round. What makes you think he could even land a straight left against Mayweather? Oh, wait, I understand. Pac wasn't on PED's when he fought Marquez.
