It's funny people don't really like Dan Rafael. At the press conference in DC for PBF vs. Mosley when he got introduced because he from the DC area he got booed bad. I don't like any writer that has an agenda. You can have a opinion but as a so called writer you can't let your opinion get in the way of facts and whats true.

Only because of his access to insider info. Take away that, and when it comes to certain topics, I would fail to see the difference between him or Torilla Warrior. Except TW is enteraining.

I'm going to be as PC as possible with this. But I do find Dan Rafael very very bias at times. he overlooks glaring facts and states his opinions instead of the realities and nature of what is taking place in the sport of boxing. He's good at his craft but I think his areas of "his" interests in regards to what he reports and comments on skewed.

I would find it better if he stated what happened his opinion and then backed it up with fact. it would be easier to get threw without getting half way and going to the sweet science or si.

has he commented on Mosley admittance to PED video. He backed Carl froch's bizarre win over Direll (compubox stats). In that case he can argue it not being fan friendly fight but at lease question some of the factual info on the fight itself. I like his barbs about athletes but it would be better if backed up by a source. His bias towards floyd, and glorification towards a guy who will not take blood tests, is i find a huge blindside to his commentary. It's just sketchy to me...it's almost like listening to fox and hoping for news.

He's a clown Any respect I had for him was lost when I started reading his blogs. I can't take him seriously. He's no different from any other boxing fan really but he certainly doesn't have an edge in terms of expertise.

yes you are entitled to an opinion but would you get counsel from a drug dealer about how to be a good person? Opinion goes only as far as the facts the prove them!

aren't we all? it's a human nature...we always tend to go against somebody who has different opinion than ours. but that's ok as long as you know how to respect others opinion but sadly that's not the case most of the time. anyway i'm not referring to you...just discussing.

Exactly no such thing as a non-biased boxing analyst (or any other analyst for that matter).

There's only less biased ones, and they're usually more respected.

i just think he's making a mockery of what boxing is. Look at the history of boxing look at the commentators who where before him Howard Cosel i dunno man... his aim seems to be low bottom barrel low.

Do we need any more proof of biasedness?

He's just a biased journalist who says what he wants to say whilst blatantly ignoring the facts. Just heard he said Mayweather in his 6th year as a welterweight hasnt fought anyone yet. He is blatantly incorrent because Mayweather didnt move up until the end of 2005. Meaning he has had just over 4 years as a WW (2 years of which he was inactive). As for "not fighting anyone" well he fought the #1 welterweight in Baldomir and #2 in Judah so Rafael clearly just said he he wanted and not what's really the case. If this guy actually knew what he was talking about he might be more credible but he just says what he wants and blatantly states incorrent bull****.
