If Cotto gave Mosley a hard time, what makes you think Floyd wont?

See, we can both play this game

I know this has been said before.. I dont care about the whole he hasnt been tested at welter bull****.. I go by styles. Styles makes fights.

    Mosley doesnt throw combos anymore
(he's been throwing 1 punch at a time for a while now)

    Mosley doesnt have footspeed anymore
(A young Mosley would have caught up to Cotto and stopped him from running)

    Mosley doesnt move his head
(I dont know why, but when Mayorga cant miss you, its sad)

Mosley hasnt fought in 16 months
(not good when youre 2 days older than water)

Now with that being said, Mosley is definitely strong physically, decent pop, fast and tough as nails.. But that wont be enough Im not saying its gonna be a walk in the park for Floyd but he should win comfortably in a tough fight. Floyd haters and *******s will discredit his win somehow someway

If he beats Mosley ill give him all the credit in the world but with Mosley you never know.....he was a 8-1 underdog going into the Margarito fight and just dominated.

I just hoped this fight doesnt turn out to be like the middle rounds in the De La Hoya fight because those were brutal. Mosley looks to be in a good place right now with his trainer Naz nad i think they could accomplish great things together

for once, you make sense thread starter............youre right about mosleys flaws, mosley was a little tentative because of cottos power though, cotto was very compact and has a very nice up jab.....floyd jabs a lot less, but he may be able to accomplish the same with right hands......and he doesnt have cotto's power to keep mosley that honest.....workrate is also in mosleys favor...its a hard fight for mosley but if he can get to floyd and keep him inactive, he has a good shot at winning with fair judges...

Flyod will beat Shane by boring him to death and beating him by UD, like most of Flyods fights. Most boxers dont have much patience and lose focus.

Try the difference between not studying for a final and studying for a final. Mosley against Cotto was like a student that did great all year and knew a lot of the material because he'd been there before, but in the final doesn't do nearly as well as he could have in the final because it was harder and he didn't study.

That's the difference between Jack Mosley and Naazim Richadson game planning and preparation.

If Shane did like he's done i the past and left it up to his talent, skills, and natural ability to adjust. I wouldn't give him much of a shot. But no he's gonna bring all of his tools and he's gonna have a great study of the material beforehand.
