I was speaking more to the fact that SM obviously wasn't in top shape and alot of his game relies on movement and cardio. That will certianly play a larger role in the rematch than PW having more time sparring a lefty.

Martinez is going great now. My only worry for him is that at age 35 or 36 or whatever he is, his legs and speed could drop off, at any time, particuarly after a couple of hard fights which he will be sure to have soon seeing as he is looking at a pwill rematch.

Sadly, the reality is Martinez will only be around at the top for another couple of years at the most. His speed and movement are a huge part of his game, and they do not last at full capacity into your 40's. In fact it's remarkable they are still so good now.

I agree, a draw would of been a good decision. I do favor Martinez in a rematch though

i guess a rematch is in order to see if sergio still has some legs left or will pwill be able to solve sergio martinez style

does margarito - martinez rematch thrown out of the window however? the 2 of them are both on their 30's and both are not getting any younger..

margs may have lost some chin
martinez may have lost some speed

PW owned Martinez's fists with his face.

the scorecard was right. williams won just that one dumbasss judge with the wide score. wake up people williams won. dont let one bad score make you think martinez won because he didnt.
