What if the weight loss makes Arreola weaker? LOL at the thought of him being weight drained at 230lbs.

I think it's possible that if he trained/starved his way down to what people on here would like him to look like, he would be weight drained/impaired, absolutely. And while it certainly hurts his mobility, it just might help his punch resistance, maybe even power.

Thats why I hope he didn't go overboard. 240-239 is good weight for him. If he comes in at 230 he might have lost his punch resistance a bit!

he's got a lot of pounds that he can lose without sacrificing his well being. when roy lost over 25 pounds of muscle it's a problem, if chris loses 25 or more of fat it wont be a problem, it may only be a good thing

You never know though, maybe some of that weight he lost might be a bit of his muscle. When you try to lose weight do you lose a bit of both muscle and fat? Or do you just lose fat for the most part?

You mean like if his fat is like Sampson's hair?

He loses his strength without it?

depends on the diet, aerobic activity, what kind of weight training is involved if any, but generally if you losing weight some muscle will be lost, but in chris' case he's got more fat to lose than muscle

I don't think it should be a problem. According to him, (not that I believe it) if he was weighing what he is now for the Vitali fight, he'd have beaten him.
