According to Kyodo News, the team of WBA flyweight champion Daiki Kameda have balked at the WBA ordered title defense against Takefumi Sakata. The WBA scheduled a purse bid on April 29 at the Wynn Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. The issue has to do with the pending civil suit between the Kameda camp and Kyoei Boxing Gym over fight money. Daiki should man up and face former champ Sakata this summer. The kid had his share of issuing insult to Sakata, saying "Sakata's punch couldn't knock even a
little girl down." Daiki is 1-1 with Denkaosen and so is Sakata. These two should fight each other to show the JP boxing fans who is the better fighter.

I'm sick and tired of hearing the Kameda camp making all those senseless remarks. It's about time their fists did all the talking, not balking.

Not a big fan of Daiki but I am kind of surprised the WBA is forcing him to fight Sakata since, last I saw, Sakata was ranked 7th and he hasn't beaten anyone of note at flyweight since losing the title in 2008
