Froch should be focused on Kessler instead of obsessing on Calzaghe. He's going to lose to the Viking Warrior this weekend.Comment

CARL Froch has delivered another knockout blow to troubled former world champion Joe Calzaghe.
Froch defends his WBC world super-middleweight crown against Mikkel Kessler in Denmark on Saturday and has renewed his war of words with Calzaghe.

The Cobra strikes again.........be happy Carl....Joe would slap you into submissionComment

I think Carl is secretly in love with Joe. So bored of him talking about Cal, there is no way Froch has the talent to stay undefeated and Joe would still beat him even now.Comment

Styles makes fights. Why do you think Froch will get KO'd? Why does everyone think Kessler is so good? I mean maybe I'm missing something about Kessler, but I never thought he was that good ever. His best wins are Andrade and Mundine. I'm not the hugest Kessler fan, so maybe I'm missing some other notable wins on his resume?
Froch is open and runs in with wide shots.
Kessler is a pretty hard hitting guy who has fast, has straight shots and stands his ground.
It's gonna look like Pascal-Froch I feel, but Kessler is a slightly more proven fighter.
Dirrell won in my eyes, but his running didn't help. He was still green and did a lot of wrong things yet won in my eyes.
Taylor already put him down and was winning by a huge margin until the 10th. Taylor's chin let him down and his obvious stamina issues.
Kessler isn't great, but look at Froch's wins also.
Pascal was exciting but not any sign he was great. He just outpunched someone in his face and who was actually bending in to get hit.
Taylor damn nearly won until the KO. He could have if he took a knew or held the last 10 secs...
Dirrell actually schooled him and that fight was a bad night for Dirrell. He got robbed. Rabbit punches are wrong, no matter how much your opponent ducks. The ref deducated a point from Dirrell aswell...
Everyone else like Reid, etc... all out of prime. Heck the rest are mainly bums
Is Froch actually that good? Well, he's slow, wide, open, has bad footwork.
He has beaten a lot of bums, and these guys are more bum and domestic level. Atleast kessler beat some good names.
Froch has won on sheer power, workrate, heart and chin. Not a bad combo because he did become a world champ. However in boxing, at the top, he will need more to beat Ward, Bute and Dirrell. (Yes Dirrell is a better fighter now than before, and won in my eyess, but OK let's rematch it baby)
As for Calzaghe, his style was too fast, too fluid and too much for Froch. Calzaghe wouldn't get hit and has a difficult rhythm to time. You gotta hit and hold.
Froch hits and hits, but he will be msising and tbh, Froch is the Uk version of Lacy.Comment

Let it go Carl, why are none of ur comments about your opponents, i can understand trash talking your opponents to get you motivated and to get them anoyed and off their game, but why are u trash talking a retired boxer that even if he came out of retirement you can not fight because you have the supper 6, stop using Calzaghe's name to get forums talking about you!!!Comment

I'm a big fan of Carl (as I was of Joe) but he's starting to just make himself just look like a hater now. Froch jus needs to get over to Denmark finally and concentrate on Kessler. If Calzaghe comes back he's gonna start off with a bum and then maybe fight a Glen Johnson or someone of that caliber. He isn't gonna wait around till 2012 when Carl is out of the Super Six plus I can't see Joe coming back to 168 anyway at his age, it will be 175 at the lightest and at that weight people will want a Dawson fight more than a Froch fight although in the UK Calzaghe-Froch is bigger but can it wait till 2011/2012? I doubt plus by then Froch will get as much credit from boxing fans for beating Calzaghe as Joe did by beating a past it RJJ.Comment
