Comments Thread For: Stieglitz Talks Abraham-Dirrell, Sets The Record Straight

WBO middleweight champion Robert Stieglitz has disputed some of the recent comments that were printed in the German publication Bild. Stieglitz (37-2, 23KOs) says the reporter from Bild was exaggerating his comments to start a rift with Arthur Abraham (31-1, 25KOs). In the Bild report, Stieglitz was quoted as saying - "Arthur Abraham is a hyped fictional character" - an attack on Abraham's record and "King" nickname. Stieglitz does not deny his desire to fight Arthur in a big event in Germany. [Click Here To Read More]

dirrell is a little ***** in my book, idc what ya say. he was winning on the cards but the tide was turning & being how this kidd has no heart, he was on his way 2 folding under the pressure from aa. he definately hit him after when he was down but the only reason the ref stopped the fight & dq'd aa is because dirrell was layin on the floor doin the harlem shake. idk how real that was, he looked 2 be effected by the blow but it was not for all that shakin ****. in other words he bitched out once **** gotugly in there & he had an excuse 2 end the fight.

The reporter tried to ruin Stieglitz's name.

Stieglitz is showing nothing but respect, he is just saying he wants to fight the best out there. Even though I don't think he'll win against the best, but atleast he is willing to want to get in the ring against the best!

I sugest you watch rds 10-12 of the froch fight before saying he has no heart. He destroyed your lover AA. That's no reason to make **** up, and call him a faker.

Interesting... I was surprised when it came out. I thought it was a pretty harsh critic coming from a countryman. Now things make sense.

I would not put Stieglitz anywhere near AA though. Kid would get ko'ed.

Bild Zeitung is full of ****. Especially people from USA here and all other guys who are not familiar with this German tabloid - please remember that "Bild" is full of ****. They are famous for their journalist tricks, like getting minor facts and words out of context, adding some lies, and printing these lies as sensational headlines in red and black. They can terribly annoy people. Heinrich Böll wrote a novel about this. **** Bild. Never trust what they write.

Stieglitz is cool. You should have seen him destroying world champion Balzay in the capital of Balzay's home country last year, and recently in a war with Eddie Gutknecht (who was 19-0-0). Stieglitz-Abraham would be a great fight.

And I can only agree with BoxeoBoriqua on Direll's performance on the floor.
