He was mentally damaged and obviously had a lot of demons that eventually got the better of him. It's sad that he didn't recieve the help he so clearly needed and eventually died, and it's even sadder that his innocent wife who he must have loved on some level had to die so brutally at his hands as well.

The authorities who'd dealt with Edwin and his wife since his troubles began could have prevented this all by showing a little more intuition and/or initiative and nipping his crazed behaviour in the bud before it got so out of hand.

He wanted to change but it was hard for him, I didn't say he was innocent as a person in my posts in the other threads I just believe there is more underneath the rug than what's been swept out, he probably did have trouble with drinking and probably did hit her and that was wrong but addiction is VERY hard to break., she stood loyal to him and I think it was more ut of love than fear, you don't go 10 years with someone due to fear that's just not likely.

I believe they loved eachother andI believe he was a man with MANY issues and was wrong in a lot of things but I also saw a man clashing his demons, on one end he wants to change and the other he ****s up and inside he was just going back and fourth, addiction does that to you but I just don't think he killed his wife or himself, the fact that she was shot by a group of people a while ago whom were politically connected out there just doesn't allow the thought that Valero killed her to settle in my mind, i can't shake the thought that it's not how it's being reported

The guy is a world champion....

Hes been in trouble with the law constantly...

Had restraining orders etc for obvious reasons...

Stabs his wife 3 times, commits murder...then commits suicide...

Why the **** is any1 saying RIP to this guy?

And i would of wanted him to rot in prison for the rest of his life, he took the cowards way out

This love thing you guys keep talking about??? maaaaaaaaan I gotta tell ya......that's a hard one for me to buy......admittedly I don't know these people on a personal level....but im pretty sure you guys don't either so at this point it's all based on personal opinion on what we have heard on the news or what not.....based on that the man was abusive....and used to beat on his wife.....can can you love someone and treat them that way???? I sorry fellas....I just don't see it........did he used to lover her??? yeah probably at some point when they got together.....but that love must have turned to hate for him to behave as such (according to reports) if I had to put money on it.....I'd say he didn't love her as much as was obsessed with her....but again...that's just IMHO....

Hey men its a real tragedy I think this kind of thread its a little offensive...

Really i mean its a boxing forum ( and not a particulary bright one lets be real ) a place to ask for opinions about if a guy deserves or not to die.

Its a really sad tragedy thats my opinion.
