i think it's a little harsh to say cotto is done. he got beat by a cheater in margarito and the p4p best in the world. it's hardly like rjj now is it? i feel it's an overreation to label him a "shot" fighter at this point in time...

hahaha that wouldnt even be a fight just a brutal brutal beating with hands of bricks bearly landing anything at all and getting stopped

If Cotto beats Foreman, then it makes sense. Obviously Cotto has a better shot at 154, but I'm not sure the result won't be the same. Though it would certainly erase the "catchweight" excuses.

And, that would be the only reason why I would like to see this fight if Cotto beats Foreman...

if cotto grabs the belt at 154, pac might want a stab at it. I'm thinking this time around, cotto will make it a tougher fight and we might even get a trilogy.

floyd is ******... he's gonna miss out on the pacquiao money train

i second that, if Steward shapes Cotto up which I believe he can and he has a real voice in his corner between tough rounds (Santiago never said ****) it could be an interesting rematch. INTERESTING...but ain't no way the winner will be Cotto

That's a very interesting observation. If by some chance Cotto would pull out a victory, the trilogy would be a sick amount of money. And for Arum all in house. I don't think it's hard to see the motivation.

I have no problem with this AFTER he faces Floyd. Their next fight has to be with each other end of story.

It will only be significant if:

Pac cant make fight with Shane
Pac cant make fight with Floyd
Pac cant make fight with any top JWW

I dont like the idea of the match-up against Margarito since he hasnt redeem himself.

Pac-Valero could be a possible fight if only the tragedy never happened.
