Argentine Carlos Monzon and Venezuelan Edwin Valero

Carlos Monzon is listed as the third best middleweight boxer of all time, after Marvin Hagler and Sugar Ray Robinson.

He was accused many times of domestic violence by his two wives and many mistresses, and of beating paparazzi.
He was accused of killing his girlfriend and then went 11 years to jail. He died in a car crash during a weekend furlough. He killed himself...

same happened to Valero, but Valero killed himself without going into jail and Carlos career as boxer was over, he retired from boxing before this things could happened.

my point is Carlos is a legend.

    Things that caught my attention:

    ringtv:
Sergio Martinez followed in the footsteps of fellow Argentine Carlos Monzon and earned himself some new hardware on Saturday night in Atlantic City, N.J.
yeah, ringtv mentioned Monzon, one of Argentians best middleweights in the time Valero another champ killed his girlfriend and himself.

ringtv has no problem, other than:

    boxrec:
nuttin, zero, finito...boxrec has always mentioned the deaths of boxers, trainers, promoters and put R.I.P the date and the name of the boxer ahead the side, but there aint nuttin for Valero.

what I want to say is this always has been a problem, in the one hand theres the great boxer in the other hand theres the murderer..so we can talk about this all-night-long but have no answer at the end.

may he rest in peace (I know some ****s'll come over here and **** Valero up, what is legit)

monzon is famous for beating up on smaller people....look at his career all he did was beat up welterweights moving up to middleweight...if he had any ballz he wouldve tried light heavyweight considering how huge he was next to his opponents...that is all i gotta say...

Monzon had 3 losses, 9 draws, and 1 no contest. He avenged all 3 losses, 8 of the 9 draws, and the 1 no contest.

14 defenses of the MW title, second only to B-Hop. Monzon is one of the best MWs of all time.

Valero didn't live to realize his full potential.

monzon was a true boxer, his skills are undisputed. he was truly great in the ring. but yea, he wasnt much different fro valero outside the ring. the only difference is valero could only dreamed of reachin the heights that monzon reached. he was more like pac in his country then valero.
