JEFF MAYWEATHER: "IT'S BEEN A LONG TIME SINCE SHANE HAS FOUGHT WITH NO HELP"

    By Percy Crawford | April 20, 2010

"I went and watched a little bit of it myself yesterday and it's still looking good. The hand speed is there and it should be a good fight. To be honest, I don't even know if Shane Mosley knows how he's going to perform. It's been a long time since Shane has fought with no help…I think that it's going to be a very good fight and a competitive fight for the first 4 rounds and then, once Floyd figures Shane out and his timing and everything, it's going to be a totally different fight," stated world-class trainer Jeff Mayweather as he shared his thoughts on his nephew's upcoming May 1 clash with Shane Mosley and much more. Good article, though this thread will continue to be ducked. I guess Jeff figures after the 4 round, Shane will be a fish outta water, and they'll be nothing Nazeem can do. Not sure about that, but I do hope Floyd puts on as impressive a performance as possible.

fu ck this guy and his veiled insults. Dude is by far the worst
Mayweather talent wise and is trying to inject himself into the conversation on baseless claims.

jeff is a straight shooter he doesn't kiss floyd's ass and isn't part of the mayweather clique he's hardly ever mentioned, so this is just his honest opinion.

That's where Naazim is going to have to come into play. Shane Mosley is simply NOT the tactician Floyd is, so Naazim will have to do it for him. If you a conventional right handed fighter like Shane doesn't have a few different looks to give, Floyd will figure it out and win clearly.
