Go back an re-read my post. Dont come in here trolling a good topic with childish flames, name calling and insults.

Goodness. Grow up. If you want to flame and troll talk to someone else or go the dome and obsess about me like the rest of my fan club.

Anyway Great A did you see my post wanted to get ur thoughts on the speed of those guys at 154.

Wouldnt you say that Pavlik played a role in how fast Martinez looked. We have to Remember Hopkins looked like a speed demon vs. Pavlik.

RJJ only had his first 10 fights at 154.

          I'm not gonna count him.

Don't wanna get it a PW argument.

              You know I'm a fan.

But Sergio looked pretty fast in spots vs PW.

Especially in the first 4 rounds with that counter left hook.

He looked fast but Paul also looked fast. Very fast actually.

                  Mosley
                  Winky
                  Norris
                  Oscar
                  Williams
                  Hearns
                  Spinks
                  Mora

Sergio is not he faster ever. There are too many fast 154 Pounders for him to ever be hailed as such then you have to factor in his opponent as well.

                  There all pretty fast.

It's a fair list, similar to mine. I thought Martinez proved to be a tad faster than Williams in their fight, with Williams being the more consistent of the two. Spinks and Mora are fast but they don't have much behind their punches.

I'd say that Martinez is faster than Wright, especially on his feet, and his style is more based on his athleticism while Wright's is on his technique. Earlier in his career Wright fought more like Martinez with a more "loose" style and wasn't as successful.

Mosley is faster but he was not the force he had been at 135 and 147 as a junior middleweight. De La Hoya is atleast comparable although I wouldn't classify him as a career light middleweight.

Norris I'd say is atleast comparable to Martinez in speed, if not even faster. It's difficult to calculate speed but Norris seemed to be the faster of the two in my eyes.

Hearns was perhaps not as "fluid" with upperbody movement but he had scary power, fast hands and good footwork too whenever he decided to use it.
