If Calzaghe does come out of retirement it would have to be a light-heavyweight or even Crusierweight.

I can see Calzaghe being interested in fighting someone limited like Danny Green if the Aussie's could come up with the money.

Calzaghe's resume takes an almighty kick in the wheels if Froch beats Kessler. Hate or love it.
How would Calzhage take a hit, if he was the one who conquered Kessler first? Since then Kessler has been plagued by inactivity and dominated by Ward.

It already took a hit when a borderline prospect named Andre Ward undressed him.

Ward went from "borderline" prospect to the top dog, in one night.

Ward did it more convincingly then Calzaghe did, and a lot of people including me thought Kessler would win this tourney at the start.

              I'm not impressed by Kessler.

He folded against Ward like a cheap, ****ty, old deckchair.

The next elite opponent Kessler beats will be his first.

That would be difficult to predict, Kessler's struggle with his promotional company led to a lengthy period of inactivity and when he finally did come back, it was against limited competition. I thought he would struggle against Ward based on those issues. Calzhage fought the best version of Kessler and each time Kessler threatened to raise the bar, Calz raised his even further.

Ward must have headbutted him about 8 times.

I'm not being funny, but a real top-level fighter with those natural instincts would have either headbutted him back or just landed a roundhouse kick to the penis, and taken the point deduction.

Do you think Arthur Abraham or Carl Froch would have taken those headbutts? what do you think Bernard Hopkins would have done?.........I think Kessler gave up the fight, he just wasn't into it.
