Can't imagine boxing getting this much love now. It'd all be about how no one watches it anymore and banning it wouldn't be a big deal.

      Damn this **** is ruff.

According to Johnson, then the fighter said: "Damn, man, I feel like I got some water running down my face."

"I knew then he must be bleeding in his brain," Johnson said, "Then he passed out and started foaming at the mouth and having convulsions."

Johnson accompanied him on the ride to the hospital, and said McClellan regain consciousness in the ambulance.

"His biggest concern was, was he knocked out?" Johnson said.

When the medics asked McClellan was city he was in, Johnson said: "He just kept saying, `Let me wake up! Let me think!' "

But the fighter was unable to say where he was.

At the hospital, McClellan did respond correctly to questions from his doctors.

"He even remembered he was in London, and told them his daughter's name {Forest}," Johnson said.

The trainer said when McClellan was taken for a CAT-scan of his brain, it seemed that the worst was over. Johnson and Donnie Penelton, McClellan's cousin who also worked his corner and lives in Milwaukee, went to a hospital lounge.

"The next thing, they were back saying he had a blot clot," Johnson said.

"They said, `If we don't cut on this man in the next 15 minutes, he's gone.' "

"I told them, `I'm the trainer. Do what you gotta do.' "

You should read a book called War, baby: The glamour of violence which covers the Benn McClellan fight in depth.

Great fight, tragic ending. He should of quit or his team should of pulled him out after round 2
