I don't care what Joe Calzaghe does. He's wack. I have no respect for him

I just named 3 seperate news agencies that scored the fight for hopkins.
Fair enough, Calzaghe won a close decision against a 43 year old, what does he want a clap?

I think Dawson's activity, speed and arm length would be too much for Hopkins.
Just because Hopkins can beat Dawson doesn't mean Dawson loses to Calzaghe. Taylor beat Hopkins twice, lost to Pavlik twice but Hopkins schooled Pavlik.

He did dodge Dawson, Dawson called him out repeatedly and instead of fighting him he fought an old Hopkins who he expected to beat easily and according to his own words a washed up Jones.
I could easily stack up some some big names in the boxing world, inclusive fightwriter, who thought Joe Calzaghe won.

Everything else you are writing, I know. I'm just saying I believe the 43 year old Hopkins was a much more dangerous target than the green Dawson back then. I even had a voting on this site where I asked which version of Hopkins was the toughest, the old or the young. The old won.

He almost got KTFO by Johnson because he couldn't keep it up for 12 rounds.

It would be a good fight for Bute who doesnt have much going on until the super 6 is over, maybe he could fight calzaghe and then go on to fight the fighters as they ar eliminated from the super six so we can see how good he really is, because i think he can compete with the best of them with only dirrells awkward switch hitting style and hand speed causing problems, although we dont know how he will bounce back from being layed out by Abraham

it would do cokezaghe good to come back so he doesn't blow his million on blow.

if he comes back he gets 1 tune up. then its gotta be a murder's row of opponents one after another. if not, don't even bother coming back.

I would love calzaghe to come back, a good level tune up fight would be good maybe at cruserweight against Green or someone, then go back to LH to fight Dawson, Bute, supper 6 winner retires again undefeated and ahead of Marciano's record, sounds good on paper but we shall see

Bute straight punches beats Joe pitty pat punches (or girl punches as Hopkins would put it).
